Baytown Serves is a City initiative that seeks to meet community needs by developing City department opportunities, connecting volunteers and organizations with projects, and partnering with local nonprofits to expand their reach.


Perfect for individuals and families! Volunteers can complete projects throughout the park, such as coastline cleanups, maintaining and adding to infrastructure, and even refilling bird houses.

Volunteers will assist with enrichment activities, such as walking or playing, cleaning dog and cat kennels, and participating in Animal Services events. Due to required training, this opportunity is ideal for volunteers seeking a longer or more frequent commitment. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and parental consent is required for minors. Applications can be found HERE.

Volunteers will be leading field trips, teaching programs, and assisting with events. Due to required training, this is ideal for volunteer seeking a longer volunteer opportunity. Teens can join the E.P.I.C.(External link) program on Wednesdays from 4 PM - 5 PM. E.P.I.C. is a free service learning club for high school teens that is aimed at learning about, and solving coastal environmental problems through hands-on projects.
