The City of Baytown would like your feedback on a park location for the Lakewood Neighborhood.

WHAT is this project: There are 3 proposed locations and each one has different amenities opportunities. Below you will find site 1, site 2, site 3. Below is a survey where you can submit your top priorities and favorite locations. Click the photo to see a larger version of the map.

WHY is this project important: The neighbors of Lakewood currently do not have a park they can access during the day due to the shared use of Travis Park with the school district. City staff is looking for feedback on a location for a neighborhood park. We have already received feedback from the Lakewood Neighborhood meeting held on September 12 and the National Night Out event on October 4, but would like to reach as many neighbors as possible with our digital survey. The survey will close October 23.

HOW is this project funded: There is an approved amount of $220,000 in the Municipal Development District (MDD) budget. This budget is made of up sales taxes and can only be used on economic or park developments.
