Background: The applicant is requesting a Special Use Permit (SUP) to allow for the warehousing land use within the General Commercial (GC) Zoning District. A concurrent text amendment to the Unified Land Development Code (ULDC) is underway that would require warehousing in GC zones to have an SUP approved by City Council in order to development. This Text Amendment is expected to be discussed during the July 13th City Council Meeting. This project is the first project coming in needing this requirement.
